We recognize that Covid-19 is a serious concern for people in at-risk groups and we support the rights of individuals to protect themselves. We are a large group of citizens from Beaufort County who are fed up with government overreach and corruption. We recognize that Covid-19 is a serious concern for people in at-risk groups and we support the rights of individuals to protect themselves. Based on the overwhelming science and data, we oppose actions that give people a false sense of security and further put the public's health at risk. The evidence clearly shows that shutdowns and mask mandates cause more harm than good.

We formed in July 2020 in response to the continuing Covid-19 mandates and emergency orders. Seeing the need for citizen engagement and productive activism, we began with a handful of residents and quickly grew to several hundred members within a couple of months.
